The objectives of the programme
The Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters (BRACED) programme (2014-2019) is a major DFID-funded programme helping people become more resilient to climate extremes in South-East Asia, the Sahel and East Africa. TEC supports the Program Knowledge Manager (managed by the Overseas Development Institute, ODI) by analyzing the role of the economy and climate finance in building adaptation.
Services provided by TEC
• Contribution to the Theme 2 : Access to Markets with an economical analysis led in the Sahel (Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso), to better understand the factors that contribute to the resilience of livestock markets in the Sahel to climate and security shocks;
• Elaboration of a paper and a policy brief.
